This is designed to eliminate spherical aberration and field curvature while delivering superb contrast. Light coming from the object is reflected off the primary mirror (f/2.5) and then passes through the corrector in front of the secondary. With its large aperture the VMC260L Reflector collects enough light for serious visual and photographic applications for both planetary and deep sky observing.
